When it comes to awesome natural attractions, golden beaches and pristine waterways, Australia's popular East Coast has the lot. You will visit some of these on your journey from Sydney to Cairns over the next 14 days, including an Aboriginal cultural exprience made exclusively for us.

With all the major stuff sorted, this is the perfect holiday option for you to kick back, relax and enjoy the ride!

•   This morning we depart Sydney and head into the well known Hunter Valley wine region for a picnic lunch and some wine tasting before travelling further north to Myall Lakes.
•   Here ou Eco Resort is situated on the lake front, in a pristine natural environment.
•   On arrival we make the most of this location and hit the water in kayaks before returning to watch the sunset and enjoy a BBQ dinner.

•   We travel through some picturesque rural regions to the resort town of Byron Bay. Renowned for its surfing beaches, beautiful rainforests and eclectic lifestyle, Byron Bay oozes a relaxed vibe that hooks many a traveller. Some have been known to visit and never leave.
•   We have 2 days here to make the most of it all.

•   Our first stop is at Natural Arch before travelling across to Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast. This region boasts great climate, famous surf beaches and extreme adventure activities.
•   The restaurants and nightlife here are pumping every night of the week and you are free to explore it all over the next 2 days.

•   We will make a stop at Kangaroo Point Cliffs in Brisbane to check out the city, then head north to well known Hervey Bay.
•   Here we board our ferry bound for magnificent Fraser Island.

•   Fraser Island supports extraordinarly diverse flora and fauna plus sand dunes that reach 240 metres in height and abou 40 dune lakes - half the number in the world.
•   You can try the optional 4-wheel drive tour along the surf beaches to pristine inland freshwater lakes ideal for swimming.
•   At the end of the day, why not enjoy a cocktail at the jetty bar, while watching the sun set.

•   Today it's back to the mainland to travel north through sugar cane country, bound for Rockhampton.
•   After a short break for some shopping, we head just out of town to our unique overnight stop at Capricorn Caves.
•   Wildlife abounds including kangaroos, echidnas, possums and bats.

•   Today we travel on to Mackay where we will stop for lunch at one of the many beaches - your first taste of North Queensland.
•   It's then on to Airlie Beach, the gateway of the Whitsundays.
•   We will transfer from Shute Harbour to Long Island, one of the many beautiful islands that make up this very special waterway and our home for the next three nights.

•   Two complete days to relax on Long Island to enjoy some of the countless island activities and the facilities of Club Crocodile Resort.
•   A magnificent day trip option is aboard Camira to visit spectacular Whitehaven Beach for a day of swimming, snorkelling and high speed sailing.

•   We bid farewell to this paradise and head to Townsville and break our journey for some lunch and check out The Strand - made up of 2.5km of beaches, parks and cafes.
•   Later this afternoon we arrive in colourful Cairns where we can visit the night markets or just relax.

•   Cairns is the adventure mecca of Oz and today you have the chance to do as much or as little as you wish.
•   A fantastic option is to explore the Great Barrier Reef by boat.
•   Later tonight a highlight is our exclusive Tjapukai by Night experience where you will meet a member of the Tjapukai dance troupe and discuss the evening's event.
•   This is a very special and unique way to spend your last night on this adventure.

•   Today we visit Kuranda via the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway.
•   Gliding just metres above the rainforest in gondola cabins, the Skyrail journey immerses you in an intimate rainforest experience.
•   Explore the local arts and crafts of Kuranda village, then return to Cairns where we will bid our travelling companions farewell.
