Hokkaido is Japan's second largest island and is situated at the north end of Japan. The largest city on Hokkaido is its capital, Sapporo.

The name Hokkaido itself is known for its cool summers and icy winters and thus makes it an interesting place for tourists to visit. Other major cities in Hokkaido include Hakodate in the south and Asahikawa in the central region. Most travelers to the island arrive by air via the main airport which is the New Chitose Airport in Chitose, just south of Sapporo.

HOKKAIDO TOUR PACKAGE ITINERARY

•   Flight departure from Singapore Changi International Airport to the northern island of Japan, Hokkaido.
•   Domestic flight transfer from Tokyo to Hokkaido.

•   Upon arrival at Narita Airport, you will be taking a domestic flight transfer to Hokkaido.
•   Once read Hokkaido, proceed to Noboribetsu where you find the well known Jigokudani (also known as the Hell Valley).
•   Explore through the sulphurous valley where you will get a chance to view the boiling ponds and steaming streams.
•   After that, we will continue the journey to visit Mt Showa before heading to Bear Ranch.
•   Here you will see many bears and at the same time capture some bear shows and performances.
•   In the evening/night, you will enjoy and relax at the sulphur-mineral water hotspring Bath in Noboribetsu Region.

•   After breakfast, we will begin the day's tour with a leisurely drive to Asahikawa, the second largest city in Hokkaido. We will discover the Shiraoi Ainu Village for glimpse of the aborigines lifestyle.
•   Following that, we will visit the Otokoyama Sake Brewery Museum, popular for its 330 year history of brewing some of the best sake in Japan.
•   You will get to enjoy some sake tasting session.
•   Next, we will learn how ramen is made and try out some sample different types at the various ramen stalls in the Hokkaido Ramen Village.
•   Finally, we will now proceed to Asahikawa shopping street for some shopping spree and great bargains.

•   After breakfast, we will drive up to Sounkyo Gorge, situated at the foot of Mount Daisetsu-zan.
•   Next enjoy a ride on the Sounkyo Ropeway (gondola and chairlift ride and subject to weather conditions) for a breathtaking scenery of the majestic legendary mountain.
•   During the night, you can enjoy a relaxing spring water hot bath.

•   We will start the day's trip with a drive back to Sapporo.
•   Witness the creation of the all famous Hokkaido chocolate at the Ishiya Chocolate Factory.
•   Then we will also drive pass the Tokeidai Clock Tower and then on to Odori Park, where the annual Ice Festival takes place.
•   At the same time you can also visit the Sapporo TV Tower and last but not least enjoy some shopping at the JR Tower.

•   See more than 10 ramen restaurants at the Susukino Ramen Alley Tanukikojo Shopping Arcade, the largest shopping mall in Hokkaido
•   Visit Nijo Fresh Seafood Market. Here you can search for all sorts of Hokkaido delicacies and lastly be treated to the delicious Hokkaido Crab dinner.

•   Drive down to the town of Otaru, a wonderul romantic town made famous for its spectacular canals.
•   Visit Otaru Music Box Museum and enjoy their heavenly music followed by the Kitachi Glass shop to see some unique lamps and hand-blown glassware.
•   You can also shop at the Lining Otaru Canal for music boxes, crystalware and glassware.
•   Overnight in Chitose.

•   After breakfast, it will be free and easy for you until time for your departure and transfer back to the airport for flight back to Singapore via Tokyo.
