•   On arrival at Christchurch Airport, you are met and transferred to your hotel.
•   Self drive passengers collect your rental car for your exclusive use until the end of the tour package

•   Travel South across the Canterbury Plains through Timaru and Oamaru to reach Dunedin early afternoon.
•   Rest of the afternoon is free for optional activities, such as wildlife cruises.
•   Self drive passengers may wish to explore other parts of the city in the afternoon.

•   Morning free for further optional activities.
•   In the afternoon you will be picked up for the spectacular Taieri Gorge Train to Pekerangi for the connecting coach ride to Alexandria.
•   Crowmwell before arriving at Queenstown.
•   Self drive passengers are free to participate in more optional activities before driving to Queenstown.

•   To day a cruise on the vintage 'Old Lady' the TSS Earnslaw to Walter Peak High Country Farm for a BBQ lunch excursion at the Colonel's Homestead.
•   First the experience of cruising on the TSS Earnslaw and secondly on the farm experience and the BBQ lunch.
•   When you board the boat's return journey, join in the sing-a-long session for a memorable 40 minutes trip.
•   The 'TSS Earnslaw' is away on its annual service in June and July and therefore is replaced with other activity or activities that will be advised.

•   Travel through the Kawarau Gorge past Lake Dunstan on toward Wanaka.
•   On past Lake Hawea as you head toward "the neck", a stop is made in Makarora before crossing the Southern Alps as you enter the Haast Pass.
•   We pause at Knights Point to view magnificent seascapes.
•   From here pass Lake Moeraki and Paringa then past Bruce Bay to arrive at the Glacier region in the evening.
•   Self drive passengers will drive there yourselves.

•   Travel north to Westport before arriving at Punakaiki for a view of the amazing Pancake Rock formations.
•   Then through the Buller River and Buller Gorge to arrive in Nelson in the late evening.
•   Self drive passengers will drive there yourselves.

•   We cross the Rai Saddle to Havelock to take the Scenic Queen Charlotte Drive along the Sound to arrive at Picton to connect with the Coastal Pacific Train to the Whale Watching Centre of New Zealand.
•   Self drive passengers will drive to Kaikoura.

•   Free until time to board your Coastal Pacific train back to Christchurch for the night.
•   Self drive passengers will drive back to Christchurch.

•   Early this morning a tour on the "Hot Air Balloon" is suggested if time permits.
•   Transfer to the airport is included for your departing flight.
•   Self drive passengers return your car directly at the airport.
