Perth is well known with backpackers. You may find alot of backpackers' hostels scattered all over the city, especially in the Northbridge area.

The new Youth Hostel is situated right on Wellington Street in Perth, which is approximately about 200m east of the main train station.

Caravan parks (Trailer parks) are another cost effective family way to stay in Perth. Though they are usually found some distance from the city, some have bus stops right out the front door.
