Masjid Negara KL
Set in five hectares of landscaped gardens north of the old train station, Masjid Negara is one of Southeast Asia's largest mosques.
A 73m high minaret stands in the centre of a pool, and the main dome is an 18-pointed star - symbolising the 13 states of Malaysia and the five pillars
of Islam.
Forty eight smaller domes cover the courtyard. Their design is said to be inspired by the Grand Mosque in Mecca.
Remember to remove your shoes and dress appropriately.
