TRAVEL KUALA LUMPUR TO SINGAPORE

Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore Highlights 2 Weeks Malaysia to Singapore

If you have only got a couple of weeks to spare then it's best to confine yourself to one side or other of the peninsula. Those interested in city life should stick to the west coast, spending around four days in Kuala Lumpur, couple of days each in Penang and Melaka, and about four days in Singapore. This will leave you a few days spare to add in a trip to the Cameron Highlands.

If it's the great Malaysian jungle you have come to see, then top of your list should be Taman Negara. Four days will allow you to get the most out of the park, including spending a night or two in a jungle hide for wildlife spotting.

Confining yourself to the east coast, you could go straight from KL to Kota Bharu and then work your way down the coast taking in Kuala Terengganu and Pulau Perhentian for a few days, then the Royal Abu Bakar Museum and bustling night market of Johor Bahru, before heading across the causeway to the relative sophistication of Singapore.

Covering the highlights of both the peninsula and Singapore in just a couple of weeks will involve some tough choices on what to leave out, but the excellent transport will allow you to travel 1100km up and down either the east of west coasts with a minimum of hassle.
